1. Satan's a Punk and Who's the Weirdo
Ready? BAM! We did it. The very first episode of Outpost of Heaven: the podcast is UP. As I am writing this I am bouncing up and down and doin' a little shoulder shimmy jig.
Summary:
In this episode we give a brief and silly introduction of what we are doing, our mission, and ourselves, and we explain the term "outpost of heaven." We also introduced our first "who's the weirdo" segment (which we do every episode where it's just Andrew and me), warned you that Satan is punk, and encouraged you that you can do hard things even if Satan is getting in your way. God loves you! You can do this!
Show notes:
An outpost of heaven is "A fortified position established away from the main body of an army to protect it from attacks and allow that army to project force from a place of strength." It's an earthly home away from our heavenly home. It's a place of safety, peace, love, guidance, and protection from harmful worldly influences.
